Baby Supplies and Resources
FIRST Five of Santa Clara County has a list of Family Resource Centers where Santa Clara County residents can get diapers, baby wipes, formula and other essential items.
You must call 877-464-0244 to register.
Housing Resources
Overnight Parking
The Winter Faith Collaborative and Saratoga’s Prince of Peace Lutheran Church coordinate overnight “safe parking” sites at churches and other locations, including some near De Anza, for individuals or families who are sleeping in their vehicles. Contact Amigos de Guadalupe in advance to be screened and enrolled in this program, by calling 408-341-6080 or 408-509-2731.

West Valley Community Services housing helps homeless individuals and families find long-term housing, through rental assistance and other support services. You can speak with the case manager who comes to campus twice a month with the mobile food pantry or call 408-255-8033
The Bill Wilson Center
The Bill Wilson Center operates housing programs and other services that can assist students who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. A representative from the center is available on campus once a week to provide information and referrals. Stop by the Office of Outreach in Room 127 of the RSS Building to make an appointment.
Housing Sharing
Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County a free matching service house-sharing?locale=en to help people find affordable housing in the form of a rented room with shared space in a private home. You must apply and complete a screening process to be considered. You can start the process by submitting an online inquiry form.

Financial Assistance
Santa Clara County residents – including undocumented individuals or families – may qualify for financial assistance to help with basic needs, including rent, if they have lost income because of the coronavirus situation. The program is currently out of funds, but you can ask to be placed on the waiting list for when more funding is available. Apply online through Sacred Heart Community Services or call 408-780-9134
While stay-at-home directives are in effect, you can apply online for state benefits through the Santa Clara County Social Services Agency, including cash assistance, food assistance and health care.
COVID-19 Testing: Santa Clara County has been adding more locations for individuals who have symptoms or meet certain criteria – such as working in grocery stores or other essential services. Check the list of testing sites for more information.

- Multilingual legal assistance with unemployment issues is available from the Filipino Bar Association of Northern California by calling 415.484.2209. Help is available in Cantonese, Cebuano, Illocano, Korean, Mandarin, Spanish and Tagalog.
